The wagner addition is a simple room with two views.
Designed on a very tight budget and limited space, the client wanted a new bedroom and studio. Instead of two closets pretending to be rooms,
we conceived of . . . . . . . . . one big room.
A metal frame covered in moving blankets surrounds the bed and creates a sculptural element in this new space that gracefully reconciles these spatial differences. The exterior is rendered in a clear polycarbonate skin that proclaims this new hybrid space.
